Branding is a key part of a business. Some people focus on it, and some people think they don’t need it. However, branding helps cement your place in a potential client’s mind. Usually though, the first thing that a business does is create a logo to represent themselves.
Though this is an important step, it is not your entire brand. Branding includes things like the overall perception of your company, mission, and values.
What’s a logo?
A logo is the photo on your company’s identification card. It’s what your customers see as your profile picture, your sign on your door, or on your business card. It’s an image or symbol that you say is the best representation of your business. Generally your logo is either the name of your company by itself, or accompanied by an icon.
In our logo, we have our company name and a circle of dots. Our icon, which we use as our favicon (the little picture in the tab of your browser), is just the circle of dots.
If someone were to see this image on a business card, or on a website, they’d easily recognize the company. It’s exactly like how you can recognize a car’s maker by the emblem on their vehicles.
What is branding?
Branding is who you are as company. The overall perception of your business by the public is an important part of your branding, you want to foster a positive view of your business and how it runs. You need a good strategy to build your brand and earn trust from your clients. It also helps you gain confidence from your clients, keeping you as an expert in their eyes.
The image we want front and center for our business is that we help businesses grow, no matter their current size. We focus on how we can help them, not what they should buy from us. You can see this reflected in our social media posts, services descriptions, and throughout our branding.
