Creating a Business Profile on Instagram

Instagram serves as a wonderful way to share visual content that pertains to your industry. With the ability to share images of your products or the outcomes of your services, it’s a powerful tool in the online world. Having a business account on Instagram allows you to see some wonderful things that a regular account cannot. The best tool that is available is the analytics, to show you how your posts and profile is doing.
To create a business profile on Instagram follow these steps:
- Download the Instagram App.
- Click create an account with email or phone number.
- Register using your business email.
- Select your username (this should be your business name) and password.
- Follow accounts, or skip it if you’d rather do it later.
- Upload a profile picture, use your logo if you have one!
- Go to your profile.
- Click on the gear (on iPhone) or the ellipsis (for Android) in the top right.
- Choose “Switch to Business Profile”.
- Fill in the profile, your goal should be to have a complete profile. Be sure that your hours and contact information are accurate and match your other platforms.
- Congrats, you’re ready to post!
