For example, when you write a blog post for search engine optimization, you can utilize it as a piece of content for your social media profiles, a link for your paid advertising, and a way for other sites to backlink to your information.

2. Consistency is Key

Consistently optimizing and updating your strategy is a great way to improve as you receive feedback. You also benefit in the various digital marketing algorithms if you post consistently, such as Google, Facebook, and other social media platforms. If you ensure that you’re posting at the same time on regular intervals, you can really watch your online presence grow.

3. Graphics are Great

According to many studies, adding graphics to your posts (whether it’s on your site or on a social media platform) increases the overall retention of the information, engagement from the consumer, and brand recognition. That being said, you don’t want to just slop something together in paint. There are many tools you can use to create stunning graphics, or you can hire a professional to really make your graphics great.

This will be frequent enough for Google to rank you and usually is infrequent enough to  handle at first. Start with the bare minimum and increase your you frequency over time as you get more comfortable with your posting schedules.

5. Build a Community

This one sounds like a no-brainer, but engage your customers. Online or in person, it’s great to have a loyal fanbase to interact with. If someone comments or reviews your platform be sure to respond as soon as possible.

6. Communication is Critical

This goes along with number 5, but make sure to respond to all messages promptly. On Facebook, they have a piece of data they display about how quick your business responds to messages. It’s important to keep this as fast as possible, even if it’s just a “Thanks for reaching out, we will be with you shortly”.

7. Respond to All Reviews

Most people think it’s a good idea to ignore their bad reviews, however it’s actually the opposite. Be sure to respond to all reviews in a professional manner without getting heated over their accusations.

8. Never Stop Improving

Digital marketing is a constantly changing field, so your strategy must grow and adapt with it. Review your campaigns and strategies regularly to make sure they’re working the best they can for you.
